"One of my creative pieces to date. This piece reminds me of my time in the South Asian country of Loas. Tall mountains hover over each other in northern parts of Vang Vieng. Refinished using General Finishes Antique White, Halcyon Blue, custom mix of Lamp Black and Halcyon Blue and Gulf Stream Blue. This piece is upcycled by removing bottom base, cutting off the sides and attaching new metal feet. Top has been sanded and sealed using High Performance in satin." - Sage Furnishings
"We came across this perfect vintage linen chest while back and somehow it ended up lost in the midst of other projects. But all comes to light in it's own time...and this one was well worth the wait! To transform this piece we sprayed a custom mix of General Finishes Lamp Black and Snow White for the subtle ash black I had in mind. It carries the perfect muted tone. The top coat has the perfect matte sheen that feels amazing to the touch. The original brass hardware was polished and glazed...

When I first saw this piece, my mind instantly went to a shade of green. But it wouldn’t work with the other colors in the room so I settled on a soft shade of gray from...
"I never intended to do another French Provincial set, but sometimes we come across pieces that demand our attention. This is one of those pieces. The curves on this chest are so definitive and the hardware is timeless. As soon as I saw it I knew....Navy.
But the search for the perfect Navy shade was a feat. So to mixing I went. This custom shade has so much depth and it is a true chameleon. It ranges from a rich regal blue to deep teal to almost black depending on the lighting...
"Just in time for Christmas morning, awakened from his slumber!!! Ebenezer is a Scrooge no longer!! His boring time with Marley and Marley are over! Like the ghost of Christmas present, I updated his look to last for time yet to come!!! Like a beautiful new winter cloak, I painted his body in the deepest Teal. To create his rich custom color I mixed General Finishes Westminster Green and Lamp Black. Much like his old miser ways, I sanded off his original stained legs. And found true beauty...

"The power of paint. It’s really quite amazing! Don’t you agree?!! I was asked to transform the dark, dated pieces on the right into something fresh and farmhouse modern for a big girls room. OH, and add a little sparkle please!
Painted in a mix of grays (per moms request). Perfect Gray, Queenstown Gray both by General Finishes and a leftover “secret” gray I had. OH and that sparkle!! Let’s not forget that!! My first time using glitter paint!! Intense Glitter Paint by Rust-...
"This beautiful Eastlake wash stand dates between 1870-1890. For its age, it was in very good condition with only a few repairs. I used Minwax Classic Cherry stain for the top. The base was painted General Finishes Antique White (1 cup) and Buttermilk (1/8 cup) and finished everything with High Performance Topcoat in satin." - Newbac Designs
The cherry top was stripped and refinished in Minwax Classic Cherry. There was a very dark, thick stain on the top as well as horrible sanding swirls, so it was a challenge to remove the deep swirls and the stain that had soaked deep into the wood. The belt sander was my friend on this one!
The base is painted in a custom creamy white to match her dressers I did earlier this year. It’s...

"And here is the gorgeous table! The final piece of a beautiful dining set my clients parents owned in Germany that she inherited and brought back to the states and will eventually go to her daughters.
The table had been previously painted so I stripped all of the old paint off to start fresh. I never just paint over old paint as I can’t guarantee my finish since I do not know the steps the previous painter took to prepare the piece for paint. After stripping, cleaning, sanding and cleaning...

"I stripped the top, which is laminate, and gave it an extra heavy sand with 80 grit sandpaper. Usually 220 is sufficient but this was extra slick. The paint was adhering well to the body so I gave it a really good sand and gave the entire piece three coats of primer, checked for adhesion issues and everything was sticking. The paint color is a custom light, warm gray. I used General Finishes Snow White and Antique White in equal parts (1 cup each) and added a little Perfect Gray (1/8 cup)...
