"This gorgeous 1970s hutch has been owned by Janis, who has been wanting to get it refinished for some time now. She picked everything out, even the ratio for mixing General Finishes Halcyon Blue and Lamb Black to create this perfect shade of blue for her custom modern farmhouse. She didn't need anything extra to show her off before she went to her home this afternoon. Janis picked out beautiful wallpaper for the back, new ceramic knobs and requested light distressing to highlight the design...

We mixed Queenstown, Lamp Black and Emerald for this custom smoky green.

"Full reveal time for this handsome, blue devil! Every drawer had veneer damage and loose veneer so I decided to remove it all with a paint scraper, moisture and heat. I only stabbed my wrist once and it was enough for a tetanus vaccine. After a good sanding and patching some holes I painted the dresser in a custom mix of General Finishes Costal Blue and Blue Moon and the legs are stained in GF Antique Walnut Gel Stain. The whole piece is sealed and new hardware has been added!" - Upcycling by...
"This 8 drawer dresser underwent a few modifications. First the entire piece was stripped of the old, thick paint. The top had seen better days so I made a new one using reclaimed tongue & groove flooring from Wisconsin. Base was beefed up to accommodate new metal feet. Drawer fronts have reclaimed oak added to the front. All new hardware top it off. Refinished in a mix of General Finishes Snow White and Antique White. Sealed in a flat finish." - Elm Street Designs
"Excited to share the first piece I've done since taking a few months off. It was challenging, but it reminded me of how much joy I find in taking something old and giving it a new life.  General Finishes custom blend of 50/50 Seagull Gray and Empire Gray" - Boxwood & Brass

Definitely a one of a kind piece" - Vintage Actually Decor

"I just fell in love with this cabinet as a soon as I saw it. It’s a petite charmer perfect as a nightstand or in an entryway. Perhaps in a bath for added storage and organizing? Painted in a mix of General Finishes Persian Blue and Westminster Green and then aged with Van Dyke Glaze. Do not be afraid to mix your own colors my friends! If you’re hesitant, trying mixing just drops of colors on a scrap piece of wood or paper before you mix up a larger quantity." - Gravity Hill Home

"This piece is GREEN with envy! This cabinet was my Granny and Gramps from my dad's side of the family aka my OWN family heirloom. It was in ROUGH shape from years of use. Missing veneer pieces, piece of the ornate feet had fallen off over the years and the top had multiple water rings. Lastly, the cabinet door was cracked and would no longer hold the screws in the hinges. It may have been in a sad state but it was DEFINITELY worth saving. I gave it a VERY good sanding and cleaning. Then I...

Lamp Black + China Blue

Minwax Gray on top

"Took this piece all the way down to raw wood on the top and added a beautiful dusty blue, a mixture of General Finishes Milk Paints in Reverent Gray, Perfect Gray and a touch of China Blue to the body and drawers of the desk. The top was topped with a rich, solid coat of gunstock stain to add a two tone look. The original hardware was cleaned and refinished with a Spanish copper finish. This piece was extra special to recreate for this client and the happiness and excitement they reacted...

"EverTeal.... She's a Waterfall Deco style buffet with some amazing grains and this fantastic saturation of color! We custom blended General Finishes Westiminster Green with Coastal Blue for a deep Evergreen Teal color that I absolutely ADORE with Pitch Black Glaze in all those awesome details! WE took down the doors and top natural, and found some really interesting grain patterns, so we just sealed those up in our favorite Arm-R-Seal satin hand applied finish!" - Restoration Reserve  ...

"I started working on this buffet over 2 years ago. I had planned to strip the entire piece and refinish, but after stripping it 3 times, sanding, and stripping again some of the stubborn finish still would not come off the sides and front of the frame. So I had to paint those areas in this burnt orange color to match my living room rug. Buffet stained in General Finishes Nutmeg Gel Stain, sealed with Arm-R-Seal in gloss. Painted in a mix of General Finishes Persimmon and Lamp Black Milk Paint...

"This vintage Stanley 6 foot coffee table and end table set were completely made over from top to bottom. I stripped the old finish off of the tops and stained with Minwax Rustic Mahogany gel stain. Gel stain is a great alternative to my normal oil based stain when trying to match three table tops that want to stain completely different colors. It’s thicker and can be manipulated to get a closer match. The bases were painted in a custom mix of General Finishes Antique White with a tiny amount...

"Love this custom color of half General Finishes Harvest Yellow and Antique White Milk Paint on this commission antique vanity. Top refinished in Antique Walnut Gel Stain and then a coat of Java to get just the right color. All sealed with GF Flat Out Flat to keep that antique look. This was my customer, Julie’s design with the little antique white detailed accents. Turned out so sweet ...but the yellow is a little washed out in daylight photos...so much richer in person."

"Here she is, my friends! Completely made over from top to bottom, this gorgeous family heirloom is a hand carved Schlingmann Wertmobel cabinet that belonged to my clients parents in Germany. Even after making the trip from Germany to the U.S., this beauty was in near perfect condition and honestly, I was a tad bit intimidated to put paint on her flawless goodness. But wow! The makeover made each carving, each curve, each detail even more stunning and truly stand out.   My client chose a...

"Would y'all believe that I've never really been a fan of green furniture before? I've loved seeing other refinisher's green pieces but it never spoke to me as a color I wanted to paint myself, until I was looking for inspiration for this hutch. I just knew it was going to be white but I was just scrolling through pinterest one day and BAM! I saw a green hutch and my whole mindset shifted. And so this beautiful eucalyptus green hutch was born. And now I want to paint all the things green...
