Spectacular buffet in General Finishes Linen Milk Paint by Eclat Designs by Crystin
"Who wants to give Madame Bovary a forever home? This romantic buffet is a refined and elegant lady stuck in a provincial town. She longs to be in a grander place where she can be admired and loved. From afar, she appears to be beige with a walnut stained top and legs. As you approach closer, the fine details become more apparent. You'll notice the script on the drawer fronts are quotes from...

This was a super fun piece because I know the young lady in the photo transfer. Her father wanted me to create something special for her to remember her years of competeing in rodeo. The two photos are of her winning runs. The actual piece of furniture was painted with a custom mix of GF Chocolate Brown, and Antique White. Dry brushed with custom blend of AS Greek Blue then glazed with Van Dyke Brown. Doors were adorned with photos transferred with Miss Lilian transfer medium, and distressed...
Alice in Wonderland desk featuring the White Rabbit: this is one of my favorite classics.
The desk is finished all the way around so that it can sit out in the center of the room. The shape of the desk was the perfect shape for this whimsical piece and it was fun to do!
Clean, sand, and seal. This desk had a laminate top so I sanded it with course sandpaper to assure a good adhesion of the paint. Painted with Miss Lillian's paint. Used Miss Lillian's transfer medium...
I use decoupage to get a master image onto my furniture piece, then I paint out from the image, using a mix of my own line and paint style, striving to meld intomthe master artist's work for a seamless furniture piece. I love the challenge of matching color and style, while at the same time making the piece my own by changing the dges of the masterwork and pulling it out to fit my furniture piece.

"This petite cutie on castors was painted in General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint. Inspired by vintage spindles I have in my shop, the dresser was given a weathered wood look on its legs and knobs. The Farms Market themed transfer adds the perfect amount of pizazz to make this a statement piece!" - VintagelessJules
"This is the first time I've used General Finishes Black Glaze. I almost didn't, because I spilled half of the can.
But it worked out well." - The Paint Factory LLC
Can't get enough of "The Finicky Fox Buffet" by Stephanie of Rehab to Fab!
"This antique buffet has gotten a HUGE makeover. The entire top needed to be replaced. So I built a new top and stained with multiple layers of stain to get the dimension I was looking for. The body was painted in General Finishes Limestone & Chalk White Chalk style paint. Limestone is a beautiful mix of gray & tan.
It needed just one more unique touch, so I grabbed IOD's new Fox Transfer. I rubbed on...

Awesome idea courtesy of Tattered_Gypsy, "Turn old boring TV trays into fun personalized custom works of art! These trays were a special gift for my father this year. I used images of his 1957 Chevy Bel Air that he purchased new on December 6, 1956! I gave them a new life by adhering 16x20 photographs to the tops with an acrylic gel medium then sealing them with General Finishes HP topcoat in gloss. The bases and legs were painted with General Finishes Driftwood Milk Paint and the tray...
