"Beautiful bombe style dresser painted in General Finishes mixture of Antique White and a splash of Basil. The drawers were stripped down to bare wood. A little distressing and new hardware completed the look. So versatile!"
"Here she is in all her Green Glory. I call her the Green Aura. Because frankly... she has her own world right there! I can't WAIT to see where this lady ends up. Some posh home on the coast somewhere! I just see it now, with the glass shelving and displaying some awesome pieces inside! Wow! Some items are just amazing fun. (not always during the process... but to see the after is always GREAT!) This piece is finished in General Finishes Emerald Green, with dual coats of High Performance Satin...

"My client dropped off this chair to be refinished and told me an awesome story of how this chair came to her. Apparently there was a running joke in her family that her mom was not allowed to use the checkbook, and that was because of this chair. Around 60 years ago she purchased 2 of these chairs at $600 each. That’s a lot of money back then!! Heck that’s a lot of money today!
Her husband was a little upset when he found out the purchase price. Now that the chair was passed down, I’m...
"Would y'all believe that I've never really been a fan of green furniture before? I've loved seeing other refinisher's green pieces but it never spoke to me as a color I wanted to paint myself, until I was looking for inspiration for this hutch. I just knew it was going to be white but I was just scrolling through pinterest one day and BAM! I saw a green hutch and my whole mindset shifted. And so this beautiful eucalyptus green hutch was born. And now I want to paint all the things green...

"Loving General Finishes new milk paint color Westminster Green! It’s hard to capture the exact color on this one, but it’s a darker shade of green with a hint of blue. I made my own leather drawer pulls with leather strips and Chicago screws, such an easy upgrade, especially convenient for hardware that has no standard hole sizes! The finish was sprayed with my Fuji Spray Hvlp gun for a perfectly smooth finish."

Stunning dresser in General Finishes Westminster Green Milk Paint.
The look of this dresser makes my heart beat faster. Age-old, made of solid wood with elements of oak veneer. One of its kind, aged by multi-layered application of a whole range of mixed colors on the furniture, which gently penetrate each other creating an impression of being damaged by time. The inspiration for it was impressionist paintings trying to capture the fleeting moment and the sensual play of colors.

One of my favourite places for second hand hunting is the Old Fire Station. It's run by two hilarious guys, full of fabulous stories about their house clearance adventures. The whole place is filled with gorgeous goodies, mostly older antiques that wouldn't look out of place in a country manor house, but they often have little bits and bobs and I reckon they enjoy me and my mum popping in. We generally buy all the old tat - garden rakes, old posters, broken chairs. More often than not they...
