Lovely GF Nutmeg Gel Stained dresser.   "Ever wonder "How does it work?" This piece is the perfect example... Mari got in touch with me and told me what she was looking for, the dimension range and her maximum budget for the piece. I found it and with her approval purchased and stored it until I was ready to work on it. She then came in to the shop to go over color sample and ideas... eventually saying "do whatever you think is best" (which is my favorite thing to hear by the way) I want...

"Your products are superior. Lamp Black Milk Paint for the body, High Performance Topcoat in flat for sealing, Antique Walnut & Nutmeg Gel Stains for the top, followed by 3 coats of the Gel Urethane. It turned out so beautiful, I had to keep it for myself!"

"I am so happy with how this gorgeous antique dressing table/vanity/dresser turned out! The General Finishes Nutmeg Gel Stain was exactly what was needed to bring this Eastlake style piece back to her glory. The wood was protected with their High Performance Polyurethane in a soft satin finish. As would be expected with an antique, this piece has it's marks of time, and are part of the wonderful charm. There a few nicks in the body, and the tilting mirror has a few shadowed areas, all of which...

Dye stain highlights the woodgrain and provides a unique undertone when used under gel stain. The wood has a warm, glowing look and feel that I love! I look forward to writing at this table every morning, especially at sunrise." -Jamie Finish schedule over prep-sanded raw pine wood: 2 coats of Amber Dye Stain 1 coat of a 2:1 mix of...

A softer shade but the ability to bring bold new life to woodwork! I love it! The top was also sealed with your High Performance - Another favorite of mine! Clean up is a breeze!" - The Painted Footprint

The Painted Drawer_ refinished this classic yet stylish table. "I used General Finishes Dye Stain in Amber as a first coat. After the dye stain dried, I used General Finishes Gel Stain in Nutmeg over it. The result is really lovely. The amber dye stain peeks out from under the nutmeg and gives the wood dimension and a great play of color. After it cured for a few days, I used the GF gel topcoat, wipe-on urethane in satin. I love this product! It provides a fantastic durable finish and gives...
