"I sanded, painted, sanded and sealed this beautiful vintage Drexel sideboard. I was originally only planning to do a light distressing, but I got a wild hair and decided to go a little (okay, a lot) heavier on the distressing. Not a look I normally do and I know it’s not for everyone, but I wanted to do something a little different. What do you think? Paint Color: General Finishes Lamp Black, sealed with GF Satin Finishing Wax." - Little House Of Four

"This piece is GREEN with envy! This cabinet was my Granny and Gramps from my dad's side of the family aka my OWN family heirloom. It was in ROUGH shape from years of use. Missing veneer pieces, piece of the ornate feet had fallen off over the years and the top had multiple water rings. Lastly, the cabinet door was cracked and would no longer hold the screws in the hinges. It may have been in a sad state but it was DEFINITELY worth saving.
I gave it a VERY good sanding and cleaning. Then I...

"This piece received a complete makeover! I’ve been looking for another one ever since my last one sold so I was pretty excited when this one popped up on marketplace! It was very ugly but I knew that wasn’t anything that couldn’t be fixed.... First I removed the weights and pendulum then removed the ugly clock face and replaced it with a new battery operated one! I wanted it to look like a very old antique clock so I added a beautiful new crown to the top to add more character and height!...

"Took a couple additional challenging steps to recreate this piece but I’m so glad I had the chance to do it. Unfortunately the veneer on the top and both sides was in very poor condition and needed to be removed. Luckily I was able to save the bottom portion of the waterfall design and literally cut it horizontally so I could remove to top portion and then apply a border appliqué. The top and sides were then painted in General Finishes Lamp Black along with the borders of the whole vanity....
