About This Post
We can't get enough of this gorgeous "grain-sack" table set by Stephanie at Rehab to Fab! Steph shared her process; "This sophisticated grain sack table set was married together with General Finishes products. The antique table was sanded down, wood conditioner was used and a mix of Antique Walnut & Java Gel Stain was used. Top was sealed with 7 coats of satin Arm-R-Seal for heavy duty durability. The base is 1/4 sawn oak but need some repair. So General Finishes Lamp Black Milk Paint came to the rescue... Bottom was sealed with several coats of satin Arm-R-Seal. Chairs were painted in the same Lamp Black and several coats of GF Flat High Performance Top Coat was used for durability. Seat cushions were taped off and same Lamp Black Milk Paint was used to make vintage grain sack stripes. 2 coats of Scotch Guard was used after the milk paint had fully dried. This set is by far...my favorite to date!"
