About This Post
Loving this bright and bold look from Cassie at Primitive & Proper. I removed the hardware, and got to work sanding with my orbital sander and 180 grit paper. For the color, I didn’t have exactly what I wanted so I combined General Finishes Klein Blue and Patina Green and ended up coming up with something super similar to their Corinth Blue, a vibrant turquoise. I applied two coats, and then lightly distressed all of the edges. With a clean rag, I then applied General Finishes satin finishing wax, and allowed it to dry for about 15 minutes. Once it was dry, I buffed with another clean rag in a circular motion to create a slight sheen and harder finish. Finally, I put the original hardware back in place.
