This fantastic vanity received a custom-mixed coat of deep blue-green, created by mixing General Finishes Klein Blue with Emerald Milk Paint. To add depth and tone down the color, a wash of thinned Lamp Black was brushed on in sections and wiped off, deeping the color and shadowing edges. The painted portions were protected with High Performance Topcoat in satin. The top and upper drawers of the vanity were sanded down to the raw wood and given a coat of Nutmeg Gel stain then protected with...
This beautiful Thomasville buffet did not sell in its original dated condition. The brass hardware was removed from the back and the top stripped and sanded down to remove all scratches and rings. The top was stained expresso and the body was painted in a rich custom mixed bright turqouise. It was then glazed with GF pitch black glaze and crumpled bags were used to get the faux effect. The entire piece was topcoated with GF High Performance Topcoat in flat. The result is an updated buffet/...

"Here’s Mr. Peacock showing off all his beautiful colors. They do say the male displays the most vibrant colors. He’s all dressed up in many vibrant colors. I used red, teal, blue, yellow and antiquing stain on him. This poor guy had no feathers when I bought him. He had lost his backside and his top. My husband added a old wood plank to the top and a old wood beam as a backsplash. Now he’s dressed to impress!
Mr Peacock also has colorful backside. I left the back off and decoupaged the...

"I've always had a passion for art and love transforming pieces into just that. Art. My 13 year old daughter picked out 4 colors. Yes, 4. lol Why wouldn't a 13 year old do anything less. I was able to transform this gorgeous antique chest of drawers into a beatufiul work of art for her on her 13th birthday. To say she LOVES it is an understatement. "
"Once again your products amaze me. I have been loving your Chalk Style Paints but really wanted to do a deep navy piece. After seeing one with the color I loved, of course the products used were yours, but they were Milk Paints. Now I had not used your Milk Paints yet and really shied away from them for reasons I really don't know. After being told what two colors to mix I went to my local retailer and got input from her. After finding out I could mix Chalk Style and Milk Paints, I bought some...
