This gorgeous hutch took some time but I am soo happy with the finished piece. Refinished in layers of Westminister Green, Gulf Stream Blue, Patina Green, Emerald and Snow White by General Finishes. My customer picked out this heavy studded gold glitter paper for the back. Original hardware in gold.

I used Persimmon, Coral Crush, Royal Purple, Klein Blue, Sunglow, Emerald, Patina Green and Holiday Red milk paints along with a few other acrylic colors on this painting. The coverage is nice, blending is easy, and I love seeing all the bright colors together.

Three cabinet colors in one kitchen? Why, YES, thank you!!  What a combination of colors for these 1970s kitchen cabinets! This was a piece I'd previously painted but it just wasn't selling and I'm a firm believer that if at first you don't succeed, try again!  Pieces can be reinvented time and time again, no finish is forever.

 

I started with a base of GF Coastal Blue. Then used my custom mix(Patina Green, Coastal Blue, Antique White and Halcyon Blue) together with Seagull Grey to create a faux finish.  I'd already added the mouldings for the previous finish so just had to put some gold leaf on...
