When I want to create a deep black modern finish General Finishes Lamp Black milk paint is always my paint of choice. Milk paint has excellent self leveling qualities that helped to smooth out some of the heavy brush strokes from the prior paint job. A flat finish sealer also helps to hide imperfections because it cuts back on light reflection off of the surface. Gold leaf on the casters and the original crystal and gold knobs are the crowning touch on this classic and elegant piece." - Centsibly Chic Home, LLC
