"This carriage style bench lives at the base of my clients bed in the Shipyards but it’s orange tone does not work with her aesthetic. This soft gray called Perfect Gray coordinates with their flooring and bedding. General Finishes products are available at paintandhammer.net ." - Paint and Hammer (Thornbury, ON Canada area)
"Vaughan Bassett oak dresser. I admittedly struggled with design on this one. My brain is mush this week and I was so undecided on which route to take.
Remove base like I normally do? I almost did, because smashing stuff with a hammer is satisfying. But this piece is so well built that I couldn’t do it. Distress it? Glaze it? Do a natural white wash? I finally opted on a timeless combo of General Finishes Perfect Gray Milk Paint and dark walnut stain." - Elm Street Designs
"Solid wood Thomasville chest of drawers. It’s been a couple years since I’ve incorporated grain sack stripes into a piece of furniture so I decided to bring it back!
Sanded and refinished in General Finishes Perfect Gray. Stripes in Alabaster.
The entire piece was lightly distressed." - Elm Street Designs
"Mengel MCM vintage dresser. This piece was covered in some realllllly old paper. But surprisingly it came off easily! Added trim to the drawers and new black hardware. Sanded and painted in General Finishes Perfect Gray Milk Paint." - Elm Street Designs
"When my in-laws bought a cabin this table was left there. It’s super unique and very functional, so they kept it but wanted it a little more updated. I refinished this in General Finishes Perfect Gray, it’s a warm gray color and able to go with any decor. I finished with High Performance Top Coat in Flat for durability. Everything was sprayed using my Fuji Spray sprayer for a smooth and flawless finish." - Flipping Unbelievable

"A full ground up redesign of this Brickwede vintage solid wood piece creates a truly stunning piece for the home. Base built out for the addition of beautiful turned feet with offset vintage inspired casters. All original drawer and cabinet trim removed and replaced by mitered beaded trim molding. Drawers and door faces all received custom raised finish. This finish is not embossed wallpaper, glued on appliqués etc. This is a custom hand created finish. A new rustic wood, layered finish top...
"This vintage desk has been beautifully sprayed a custom colour mix of some leftover paints I had on hand. General Finishes Perfect Gray, Persian Blue, maybe a bit of Blue Moon and Key West Blue. Sorry no ratios available" - Paint and Hammer
"A whole lotta work went into this before & after! Top was gross shiny laminate so I made a new one with lathe strips stained in Early American. Added trim to the drawer fronts to accommodate twenty new pieces of hardware. Painted in layers of General Finishes Perfect Gray, Lamp Black and glaze, then distressed to give the finish some depth and texture." - Elm Street Designs
"This goes in my top favorites. In serious love with General Finishes Perfect Gray!"

"This adorable little piece wasn’t always so clean and pretty. It came to me with thick black paint. It also had a little something carved on the top. I sanded away all the old ugly black paint and brought this piece back to life with a fresh coat of General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain on top along with their High Performance Topcoat. And for the body I used GF’s Perfect Gray Milk Paint. I gave it all new antique bronze hardware as well." - Ray's Refurbishing

Custom Haberdashery Style Buffet/Media
Inspired by a gentlemens vintage Haberdashery piece this 6 drawer solid wood Vintage Basset furniture piece has received a full updated redesign.
It started with the addition of iron legs to bring this piece up off the floor to a stately 37" height.
Its side cabinet doors were removed and built out with 3 beadboard shelves all custom face trimmed.
A gorgeous reclaimed natural wood top with 2" thick trim gives balance to the new design....
"This Dixie nine drawer dresser turned out so pretty! She was kinda raggedy before with a very tired finish. No structural issues, just a ton of nicks and gouges. This gorgeous blue is a custom mix of two parts China Blue and one part Perfect Gray from General Finishes. It’s not as purple as a periwinkle, not as navy as navy and not as gray as a blue gray. It’s just a lovely blue. I was inspired to create this color by a blue in one of my drawer liners. I was so excited to use the color and...

"The power of paint. It’s really quite amazing! Don’t you agree?!! I was asked to transform the dark, dated pieces on the right into something fresh and farmhouse modern for a big girls room. OH, and add a little sparkle please!

"This set is heading home for the holidays. Such a cute combo. General Finishes in Perfect Gray and Ballet Pink." - The Charming Home
"I stripped the top, which is laminate, and gave it an extra heavy sand with 80 grit sandpaper. Usually 220 is sufficient but this was extra slick. The paint was adhering well to the body so I gave it a really good sand and gave the entire piece three coats of primer, checked for adhesion issues and everything was sticking. The paint color is a custom light, warm gray. I used General Finishes Snow White and Antique White in equal parts (1 cup each) and added a little Perfect Gray (1/8 cup)...
"The top, hardware and drawer edges where painted with General Finishes Queenstown Gray. Sides and front stiles were painted General Finishes Perfect Gray. Face of drawers, legs and chair were left natural wood. Everything was sealed with General Finishes High Performance Flat." - Dasywill.Designs LLC
"The Stella Set. Simple and classy was the goal with these babes. They already had enough style in the body to add some glam but we wanted to make them a bit more versatile. So we went with General Finishes Coastal Blue on the french style bases, with a satin finish topcoat.
Laminate tops were sanded down and did our OWN hand applied marbling technique. Each one is one-of-a-kind and different! A blend of four different General Finishes products: Seagull Gray, Empire Gray, Perfect Gray and...
"This is an absolutely beautiful solid wood dresser originally manufactured by Hooker Fine Furnishings. It has been spray-finished for a smooth factory like finish and sheen. This warm and subtle grey called Perfect Gray by General Finishes marries well with many colour palettes." - Paint and Hammer
"Frankie. She's cool and collected and ready to get to work. We took a two piece hutch apart and decided to make a beautiful movable kitchen island or standing desk with the base. She's double sided folks- so there are FOUR workable drawers in this little beauty!
Pull up two stools to this working island that's been refreshed in General Finishes Perfect Gray with a satin finish and some satiny brushed brass pulls. The top has undergone a marbling transformation that will leave your guests...

"Refinished in a custom mix of General Finishes paints. Let’s see, we have Halcyon Blue, Millstone, Reverent Gray, Antique White, Perfect Gray, and Alabaster. I went a little crazy mixing. The result is a very pretty teal/gray/baby blue. I added some GF Winter White Glaze Effects over it and lightly distressed to create a worn, layered look. Some fun wallpaper on the back completes the look!" - Elm Street Designs
"When furniture hands you broken drawers, make open shelving! (Color shown is Perfect Gray Milk Paint by General Finishes)" - Eight Hundred Furniture, LLC.

"True one of a kind statement piece!! Repurposed lighted hutch top turned into a freestanding hutch/curio! I haven’t done one of these in awhile and it was long overdue! Exterior hand painted in Perfect Gray, interior in Antique White and shelf brackets in coco. Glass shelving inside and hutch has a light, perfect for putting all your decor on display! We added a wood top and these adorable legs to complete the look!" - @Woodu Look-Atthat
"I fell in love with this piece the minute I saw it. I did initially sand the top and drawers but this oak had a lot of yellow which limited me to either sanding down the entire piece or painting the remainder in white...which I didn’t want to do. So I decided to stain the top and drawers faces with Minwax White Pickling Stain and paint the remainder in General Finishes Perfect Gray. I did accent the appliques and corners with distressing and then sealed everything in a matte finish. All the...
"Ok after a long haul, we've given Miss Vera her wings to fly! She's about as classy of a lady as you'll find anywhere. Late 1800's Eastlake style Three Drawer Dresser- she would make an AMAZING coffee bar!

"Took this piece all the way down to raw wood on the top and added a beautiful dusty blue, a mixture of General Finishes Milk Paints in Reverent Gray, Perfect Gray and a touch of China Blue to the body and drawers of the desk. The top was topped with a rich, solid coat of gunstock stain to add a two tone look. The original hardware was cleaned and refinished with a Spanish copper finish. This piece was extra special to recreate for this client and the happiness and excitement they reacted...
"This piece was once the bottom of a kitchen hutch. I removed the top and just refinished the base. The top was refinished using Graystone Water Based Wood Stain by General Finishes. The base was painted in their Perfect Gray Milk Paint."
"The original plan had to been to save the veneer but you know how things go...so I tore all the veneer off and found amazing wood underneath. I sanded it all down, burned it a bit and then clear coated it with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal. Next the base was painted with General Finishes Perfect Gray then lightly distressed and glazed and sealed. The drawer face was sanded and sealed like the top then I added Waverly Fabric and D. Lawless Hardware Oiled Bronze Cup Pull."
"This vintage Jacobean style credenza is gorgeous! Painted in Perfect Gray Milk Paint by General Finishes. I used combination of weathered wood and walnut stains for the cabinet accent panels, drawer fronts and top. Everything was distressed and then I used a Hemp Furniture Oil and finally, Furniture Wax by Annie Sloan on the entire piece. Honestly, the cabinet panels and drawer fronts look like worn leather in person...it is absolutely gorgeous! The entire piece has a time worn, rustic,...
"It’s really not very often you come across one of these so I wanted to give it my antiqued paint technique using GF Perfect Gray with Antique White distressing then added Van Dyke Glaze Effects to give it a little more age and sealed it in satin top coat!" - NB.Restorations
