Added trim to the drawer fronts to accommodate twenty new pieces of hardware. Painted in layers of General Finishes Perfect Gray, Lamp Black and glaze, then distressed to give the finish some depth and texture." - Elm Street Designs

"Joy to the World! A super, simple, thrifted, holiday decor idea!! I made my stencil for this project, using my Cricut machine. I clear coated the globe first then once dried, I place the stencil on and clear coated again. Once that dried, I painted on the message (two coats). I chose my favorite, go-to black by General Finishes called Lamp Black. Once that dried, I put on another clear coat of GF water based High Performance Topcoat." - REmade
"Redesigned Vintage Broyhill console/media/entry. The before speaks volumes of where this started. Fully reimagined. Custom top with a simple but unique pattern. The top ties in to the custom bottom wood beaded detail. Finished in General Finishes Perfect Gray with layered highlights and antique wash for depth and character." - Raised Expectations
"Purchased this cabinet from an old medical supply store. It’s solid wood and just awesome but needed some TLC. The top wasn’t attached and was split into two pieces. It was missing a back and the sides had about 157 nails in them.   Built a new top with a mosaic pattern and stained in walnut. Sides had wood lathe planks added. New base with metal feet were added. Painted in General Finishes Lamp Black and slightly distressed."    S
"Large Broyhill desk spray finished in General Finishes Blue Moon Milk Paint. The desk has a colonial Plantation vibe to it and features a large drawer with a caning clad front. The drawer is lined with a coordinating drawer paper. New gold finger pull hardware has also been added."

"Solid wood quality but lacking in style, a full redesign now gives these a edgy, modern transitional style. Finished in General Finishes Antique White. My go-to color as it mixes seamlessly with whites and creams. The addition of new legs add needed height and custom designed wood tops and bottom shelves add an organic element. Beautiful glass and antique brass drawer handles give an added layer of sophistication." - Raised Expectations
"I’m digging the neutral tones in this one. I really wanted to update the legs. The skirting is solid oak, so instead of adding legs, I had the husband square them off for a more modern look. I love how it turned out.   I used all General Finishes product. I started out with 2 coats of Linen and then sanded and distressed. I made a custom glaze using High Performance Topcoat + Walnut and Onyx Water Based Stains for a deep brown." - ReFabulous Finds by Christina

Little Hickory bowl, embellished by worm trails, a bit of texturing, and acrylic paints, most notably General Finishes Emerald Milk Paint.

Isn’t wood amazing and unique? This bowl came from the section of the log right next to the previous little Hickory bowl I posted. But the wood was totally different! It was full of worm holes, whereas the other bowl was fairly solid.

Instead of trashing this wormy wood, I saw an opportunity to highlight the natural...

"As part of our living room makeover this antique dresser chest from the 1800’s that I love so much got a little makeover of its own!   From the day I found this piece a few years ago I haven’t done anything to it, I loved it as is. But the new color tones of our living room left it looking very orange so I knew it needed a little updating and I am very happy with its new look in our new space.  Be sure to check out the before in the comments below!   Keeping with its antique look I...
"What an incredible transformation this table has had! The paint job was pretty tired when my client found it and was in desperate need of a makeover. I stripped the old paint so we could start fresh. There was a ton of wear/water damage on the bottom which was made of an MDF substrate. We added a wooden bottom and I used an epoxy wood filler to fill the gap between the table and the new bottom, sanded and shaped it to the original and now it looks like it has always been that way. And it’s...

This is a custom mix of 3 parts Klein Blue and 1 part Emerald from General Finishes. From one angle it’s more blue and another more green. A very beautiful chameleon color. I used a satin topcoat for a lovely sheen and went back and did flat on the woven rattan on the drawers and doors for dimension. The hardware is original to the piece, cleaned and shined to a beautiful brass.

"Mid Century Modern Campaign dresser painted in custom mix of General Finishes Coastal Blue & Westminster Green Milk Paint, sealed with 3 coats of Flat polyurethane" - Refined By Ash
"This set is sooo nice and it’s made out of solid maple! When I purchased this set it was finished in a very dated orange wood color and had ugly hardware…So I got rid of all the ugly! I gave the set a whole new look by painting the bases in General Finishes Lamp black and refinished the tops in GF Graystone Water Based Wood Stain then added new hardware to complete the new look!" - NB.Restorations
"I started this one by sanding the gloss off and giving it an uneven wood look by sanding some areas more than others. I wanted to give this piece an elegant style but still keep a rustic farmhouse look. I used a stain and paint combo. I hand painted light coats of General Finishes Lamp Black, distressing in between each coat. My final coat was a black/brown glaze I made with my seal, paint and stain." - ReFabulous Finds by Christina
