"This is Phoebe. She's a beautiful Mahogany Duncan style buffet that we 'personal shopped'. YEASSSSS!!! did you know we do that???? Anyways, she was in great shape already. This client has a very tailored Farmhouse style..... again, the things I know about you all by walking around your beautiful homes!!....  Updated in a popular request lately, General Finishes Empire Gray.... it's a lovely warm griege that agrees so well with warm wood tones! We love it around here! Warm Pitch Black glaze in...
"I love the fresh clean lines on this piece with the exposed wood. I originally had the dark line lighter like the top drawer but I thought it would add some interest to darken it. Plus I am practical and if this were to be used in a bedroom I like the idea of it matching a dresser that’s either light or dark. Matchy but not too matchy, you know? This piece was painted in General Finishes Antique White and finished with wax." - Bayberry Moon
"This client owned set was refinished using Alabaster by General Finishes and the pin striping was done in Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. I’m loving the way it turned out!" - Painted Paradise, by Duke Interiors and Restoration
"Franklin here may just be the coolest, most versatile piece I've done yet! Envision him..... tall, dark and handsome. Two pieces and double sided. Counter height workspace with removable hutch top. Drawers on both sides. A dual sided workspace for working from home, kitchen workspace, or home office, or the perfect craft table for your projects. Finished in General Finishes Lamp Black with an edge distress and High Performance Flat finish. The top and lower shelf has been heavily wire brushed...
"Took a couple additional challenging steps to recreate this piece but I’m so glad I had the chance to do it. Unfortunately the veneer on the top and both sides was in very poor condition and needed to be removed. Luckily I was able to save the bottom portion of the waterfall design and literally cut it horizontally so I could remove to top portion and then apply a border appliqué. The top and sides were then painted in General Finishes Lamp Black along with the borders of the whole vanity....
"Gorgeous mid century desk, refinished with a General Finishes Walnut stained top and bottom side drawers, along with lamp Black Milk Paint sides and top drawers. Original handles polished back to their silver shine. All sealed with GF High Performance Topcoat. Chair is also refinished to match with a new seat cover. If you’re working from home, why not work in style?"
"This vintage antique dresser looks like a blue lagoon. She is made of solid wood and dovetail joinery, and heavy for her size. She was refinished in General Finishes Blue Moon, waxed with dark gray and clear to add depth, and distressed for added interest. The top was done in Espresso and sealed for protection. The hardware was refinished in a bronze."
"We used General Finishes Reverent Gray and the mixture of the Brown, White, and Gray glazes for the top."
"I rarely commit to or shout out a specific brand. In fact, I mix 98% of my own colors. But General Finishes Milk Paint in Lamp Black is my go-to every time for the matte black look. Amazing product!" - The Swanky Blackbird
"What a precious farmhouse chic shiplap antique wash stand! Such a cute and charming multi purpose piece! Great patina inside cabinet and love those slatted sides. "I’m pretty proud of how it turned out!!! The look I went for was a $2,000 Hooker chair that I loved but obviously not as much at that price...So I was pretty excited to find an ugly 60s chair on Marketplace for only $10!!! I completely updated it with all new foam and a beautiful camel leather fabric from Hobby Lobby and I painted the frame in a layered General Finishes Dark Chocolate finish! What do you think?!?" -NB.Restorations
"This antique table is so cute. I don’t normally do small pieces but this one stumbled across my path and I could pass it up. It’s been painted in General Finishes Driftwood and the top has been sanded down to it’s natural walnut color."
"The Raina Dry Bar. As promised this lady has an ultimate surprise your guests will never expect! Closed up she's just a lovely example of a detailed mid-century rolling dry bar. At first glance, she'd just be a great side table... but open up those doors to another world! Metallic gold greets your guests with a Gatsby-like experience that they'll have to comment about! Finished in our newest blend of General Finishes Coastal Blue and Westminster Green... we've named it Everteal, the most...

"Here we go again with a fabulous color and I have to thank General Finishes for creating Tuscan Red...I'm using my supply up pretty quickly and I think it’s time to place another order!❤️ The buffet top and doors were first sanded down. I did the same to the single door cabinet panels and the drawer face. I then created a custom grain stain with General Finishes Java Gel Stain and Arm-R-Seal. The remainder of the pieces were painted in the Tuscan Red. I updated the pulls with wood pumpkin...
"This... my lovely friends.... is Gail. As many of you saw my earlier post- we named her Gail even before we found out that her previous owner's name WAS indeed Gail... creepy. Anyways, we're fairly certain that's the point that the creep factor ends because what lays beyond that is just pure and simple... Class. A beautiful example of simple French inspired design with clean lines and delicate decor. Gail has been refreshed after a full sand down and shellac base, in General Finishes Empire...

"Did I mention how much I love the beading on this set? If these didn’t belong to a client, I’d keep them for sure. Finished in General Finishes Seagull Gray and Maison Blanche Paint Company black wax to make those details pop."
"Have you ever been to the French countryside? No? Me either. Nonetheless, that was my inspiration for this chest. The victorian style brass handles and curves combined with the ultra distress finish gives it all the cozy, cottage feels. Fresh flowers, plush throws, old books, baskets full of freshly baked bread...it all belongs here! The ultra distressed finish gives the feel of it being a few hundred years old and truly worn."    General Finishes Alabaster Milk Paint
"Who doesn’t love a bit of Mid Century sleek and clean lines? The top and sides are done in General Finishes Coastal Blue and the front in Antique Oak Water Based Stain with some great geometric gilding in keeping with the lines of the piece....and finally not forgetting the sweet gold legs." - Emporium K Designs
Complete transformation!!   "This is a beautiful Franklin Shockey piece made in the 50s. Someone had painted it a light green and it was roughhh. I sanded the drawer raw then stained it in General Finishes Nutmeg Gel Stain. The body was painted in Lamp Black and sealed."
"These little oak dressers are one of my favorites to renew! New modern farmhouse iron hardware and ticking stripe drawer liners complete this transformation and have given this beauty a second life!"
"This mid century modern dresser needed a little update from the orange-y stain it had before. After a good sanding, I primed it and painted it in General Finishes Linen on the outside and Snow White on the drawer fronts. I also chose to keep it really mono chromatic with new white ceramic knobs from D. Lawless Hardware!!

The drawers were sanded down and sealed with Semi Gloss Arm-R-Seal (no stain). The body was protected with Satin High Performance."
"This table tested me in many ways but I am always up for a challenge and the end result was beyond worth it. This table was well loved throughout the years, passed down from mother to daughter. The inlay was severely warped and damaged particle board but overall this piece had really good bones. I removed the particle board and built the stunning poplar herringbone inlay. Painted in General Finishes Driftwood and stained in Varathane Dark Walnut, lightly distressed, and sealed, with beautiful...
"This beautiful buffet has been sitting in my storage unit for years waiting for the right owner to come along and take it home. And I’m so glad that someone else saw the potential in this piece! I knew it needed to showcase the gorgeous legs, so they were stripped down to natural wood along with the top. The rest was painted in General Finishes Lamp Black. "
"This piece was once the bottom of a kitchen hutch. I removed the top and just refinished the base. The top was refinished using Graystone Water Based Wood Stain by General Finishes. The base was painted in their Perfect Gray Milk Paint."
"The original plan had to been to save the veneer but you know how things go...so I tore all the veneer off and found amazing wood underneath. I sanded it all down, burned it a bit and then clear coated it with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal. Next the base was painted with General Finishes Perfect Gray then lightly distressed and glazed and sealed. The drawer face was sanded and sealed like the top then I added Waverly Fabric and D. Lawless Hardware Oiled Bronze Cup Pull."
"Completely Refinished Vintage Solid Wood Desk. This piece which included the top and all the drawers was completely sanded down. I did burn the top and drawers to help accentuate that amazing wood grain (still trying to figure out the species of wood...). Several coats of polyurethane were applied to provide a well protected work surface. The remainder of the piece was hand painted with General Finishes Queenstown Gray. This unique color almost reminds me of slate which pulls in both blues and...

Stunning custom blue buffet. This smokey blue is a mix of General Finishes Coastal Blue followed by adding in Persian Blue and mixing and just a touch of Seagull Gray. The top was sanded back to it's natural state.
"A stunning bar for Gigi’s new place!! We reconstructed the interior a bit and added a new shelf for spirits! Done in General Finishes Lamp Black & a golden wax on the details.
