"This 8 drawer dresser underwent a few modifications.
First the entire piece was stripped of the old, thick paint. The top had seen better days so I made a new one using reclaimed tongue & groove flooring from Wisconsin. Base was beefed up to accommodate new metal feet. Drawer fronts have reclaimed oak added to the front. All new hardware top it off. Refinished in a mix of General Finishes Snow White and Antique White. Sealed in a flat finish." - Elm Street Designs
"Modern Rustic End/Bedside tables , custom designed. What started as quality but outdated pieces are now statement makers. Finished in General Finishes Perfect Gray...which accents the new bleached wood drawer faces. Bases have been fully built out to accommodate new iron legs." - Raised Expectations

"Isn't she lovely? This beauty turned out far better than even I was imagining. It took a few repairs, a whole lotta shellac, and more coats of paint than I cared to count. But, oh, was she worth it.
She was completely sanded down, using Varathane Dark Walnut stain on the top, the legs, and upper drawer front. Her body was paint in General Finishes Antique White, it is THE perfect creamy white. She was then sealed in High Performance Topcoat in a satin finish and all the hardware was rubbed...
"Here he is! Christian.
He's an able bodied Vintage Lane MCM Armoire, perfectly paired in a sleek coat of General Finishes Westminster Green and Dark Walnut accents. He didn't require much more decorative detailing as those woven wood front doors, basket style brass pulls and walnut veneered fronts added plenty of style for the look we had in mind!" - Restoration Reserve

Added legs to make it a little more modern and lighter and removed the dated glass. Overall very happy with the outcome. Thanks GF!" - Dianne Hunter

"Totally craving a latte and some dark chocolate when i look at this combo of General Finishes Linen Milk Paint and Java Gel Stain! This big triple dresser got a desperately needed fresh look with new modern hardware.
I told my client at first that I was hesitant to refinish the veneer top because of some damage to it, but I’m so glad she asked me twice! I got over my fear of sanding veneer for fear of burning through it down to the MDF and it did NOT disappoint! So glad i did it! Look at...

Beautiful media cabinet in General Finishes Reverent Gray and Alabaster Milk Paint by Revive In Style.
"I fell in love with this piece the minute I saw it. I did initially sand the top and drawers but this oak had a lot of yellow which limited me to either sanding down the entire piece or painting the remainder in white...which I didn’t want to do. So I decided to stain the top and drawers faces with Minwax White Pickling Stain and paint the remainder in General Finishes Perfect Gray. I did accent the appliques and corners with distressing and then sealed everything in a matte finish. All the...
"This buffet is just so fun! The top had some pretty severe veneer damage from water so we did some patching and puttying and sanded the whole piece down. The top decorative piece and top drawer were stained in GF Antique Walnut and Java Gel Stains and sealed in Arm-R-Seal." - Upcycling by Amy

"I sanded, painted, sanded and sealed this beautiful vintage Drexel sideboard. I was originally only planning to do a light distressing, but I got a wild hair and decided to go a little (okay, a lot) heavier on the distressing. "I just fell in love with this cabinet as a soon as I saw it. It’s a petite charmer perfect as a nightstand or in an entryway. Perhaps in a bath for added storage and organizing? Painted in a mix of General Finishes Persian Blue and Westminster Green and then aged with Van Dyke Glaze. Do not be afraid to mix your own colors my friends! If you’re hesitant, trying mixing just drops of colors on a scrap piece of wood or paper before you mix up a larger quantity." - Gravity Hill Home
"This piece definitely needed to be brightened up. The dark stain just made this piece so sad and drab. The top of the dresser and all the drawer faces were sanded down and that beautiful light pine started to shine. I didn’t want too much yellow so I clear coated all the sanded surfaces with General Finishes High Performance Topcoat. My hubby reminded me that it’s been awhile since I used that beautiful GF Tuscan Red so that made my decision. The exterior was hand painted and then accented with...
