Antique White Dresser

About This Post

"Isn't she lovely? This beauty turned out far better than even I was imagining. It took a few repairs, a whole lotta shellac, and more coats of paint than I cared to count. But, oh, was she worth it. She was completely sanded down, using Varathane Dark Walnut stain on the top, the legs, and upper drawer front. Her body was paint in General Finishes Antique White, it is THE perfect creamy white. She was then sealed in High Performance Topcoat in a satin finish and all the hardware was rubbed down in Wise Owl Paint salve, shining them up while also showcasing that beautiful patina. *Fun little side note, the top stained "drawers" are actually just one large drawer. I thought it'd be fun to give the illusion of two smaller drawers with that accent piece in the middle." - Fin + Finished
