"This is probably the tallest secretary desk I’ve seen! There is a lot to love about this piece like the beautiful glass doors and hidden compartments! I painted it in General Finishes Lamp Black then painted the hutch interior in a white color and stained the little drawers to make a nice little accent then sealed it all up in satin topcoat!" - NB.Restorations
"Coastal Vibes. General Finishes Persian Blue Milk Paint W/ Van Dyke Glaze brought this dresser back to life!" - Gracefully Modern

Love Blue Moon. We added a black glaze to soften the color a bit.

"Lamp Black for the win again! The top was stained in Walnut Water Based Stain also by General Finishes. I decided to fill in some of the detail on a couple drawers and update the hardware" - Flipping Unbelievable

"What a difference a little paint can make! I knew this was going to be an incredible makeover. This secretary had such beautiful bones and the colors my client chose were perfect to enhance the lines and turn this into a classy, glamorous statement piece. She chose General Finishes Lamp Black for the outside and a soft white for the inside - General Finishes Antique White and Buttermilk, and added Snow White to brighten it. All of the hard edges were distressed to frame the beautiful lines...

When I first saw this piece, my mind instantly went to a shade of green. But it wouldn’t work with the other colors in the room so I settled on a soft shade of gray from...

"Some of my clients do a better job at designing furniture than I could even imagine! This piece sat for years in my storage unit waiting for just the right home. My client saw it and then sent me a sketch of a mock up for refinishing this piece and I loved her ideas! This dresser is ready for it’s new home! Paint: Lamp Black by General Finishes Stain: Prairie Wheat Gel Stain by General Finishes" - Flipping Unbelievable
"Rarely found style of an Eastlake Secretary chest refinished in General Finishes Alabaster with distressing to embrace the true aged character that can't be duplicated." - Saved By Design
"I never intended to do another French Provincial set, but sometimes we come across pieces that demand our attention. This is one of those pieces. The curves on this chest are so definitive and the hardware is timeless. As soon as I saw it I knew....Navy.   But the search for the perfect Navy shade was a feat. So to mixing I went. This custom shade has so much depth and it is a true chameleon. It ranges from a rich regal blue to deep teal to almost black depending on the lighting...
"This baby has been with Renee and her family for generations and had a run in at one point with some nail polish remover (see before photo) After a good sanding, I painted it in General Finishes Lamp Black and stained the top and drawers in General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain. The entire piece was lightly distressed and sealed." - Upcycling by Amy
"Finished in #GeneralFinishes Snow White. This is always my go too for white because it's a very bright white that is pure, easy to work, goes on smooth and gives a great finish." - Keri Traditional Designs

"Just in time for Christmas morning, awakened from his slumber!!! Ebenezer is a Scrooge no longer!! His boring time with Marley and Marley are over! Like the ghost of Christmas present, I updated his look to last for time yet to come!!! Like a beautiful new winter cloak, I painted his body in the deepest Teal. To create his rich custom color I mixed General Finishes Westminster Green and Lamp Black. Much like his old miser ways, I sanded off his original stained legs. And found true beauty...

"My client didn’t even recognize his table at first when he saw a picture after it was refinished! Painted table bases and stained tops for tables is my favorite color combination. I painted the base in General Finishes Lamp Black and the top was stained in Whitewash Water Based Stain diluted with water for more of a subtle look. Everything was sealed with High Performance Topcoat in satin for durability." - Flipping Unbelievable
"We recently gave this sofa table a little update. It is painted in our favorite General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint. Such a beautiful piece and would make a great entryway table in a foyer as well." - Belle Maison

"The power of paint. It’s really quite amazing! Don’t you agree?!! I was asked to transform the dark, dated pieces on the right into something fresh and farmhouse modern for a big girls room. OH, and add a little sparkle please!

Painted in a mix of grays (per moms request). Perfect Gray, Queenstown Gray both by General Finishes and a leftover “secret” gray I had.  OH and that sparkle!! Let’s not forget that!! My first time using glitter paint!! Intense Glitter Paint by Rust-...

"Some of the most incredible furniture has come out of the early 20th century. Much like this petite solid mahogany Martha Washington sewing cabinet! Every detail was carefully and uniquely crafted from it’s sleek carved legs, to it’s teeny tiny glass knobs! What an absolute treat it was to work on! I updated this piece using General Finishes Milk Paint in Lamp Black, and then sealed it with Annie Sloan Dark Wax. Restored the legs using Howard’s Restore-A-Finish." - sincerely_katiek
"Just finished up this stunning buffet! We painted it in General Finishes China Blue Milk Paint with a natural top. What a statement this absolute stunner makes!" - Belle Maison
"This beautiful Eastlake wash stand dates between 1870-1890. For its age, it was in very good condition with only a few repairs. I used Minwax Classic Cherry stain for the top. The base was painted General Finishes Antique White (1 cup) and Buttermilk (1/8 cup) and finished everything with High Performance Topcoat in satin." - Newbac Designs
"What a Transformation from old red mahogany to this spectacular lady! Finished in General Finishes Coastal Blue with a satin finish and some beautiful champagne brass finished pulls. Check out that top! Deep Kona after a full sand down has removed majority of those deep red tones. Hand applied Arm-R-Seal finish in satin!" - Restoration Reserve
"Victor. He's a classy nautical gent- Standing tall without taking up up a massive amount of space! Vintage Bernhardt- he's studiously refinished in Coastal Blue by General Finishes with a beautiful satin topcoat. How can you even argue with the pairing of Navy and Brass....?" - Restoration Reserve
