OHHHH THIS PIECE!!
First and foremost…it is GINORMOUS!! Second of all it’s OLD. It is primitive and has loads of character!! I can only imagine the stories that it could tell!
I wanted to retain a lot of its original character and keep it somewhat primitive. I wanted this piece to look old but still fit into a modern home. Black never fails. Black suits this cupboard, don’t you agree?

Turns out they are a very high end company and one article said other companies, including I believe it was Thomasville and Bassett, aspired to make as good quality furniture as Owosso did!

Gorgeous, vintage 9 drawer dresser by American of Martinsville. This baby is looooong! It’s in great condition, with 9 solid oak, dovetailed drawers that work properly. The body of the dresser is made of wood and engineered materials. There are antique brass caps on the front legs. 6 visible drawers with the middle doors that open to reveal the remaining 3 drawers.

I have to admit I’m more accustomed to black or blue but I’m in love with this green and now I see why so many of you love these green tones. Check out my reel to see the before of this orange oak buffet. I’m so happy with the result and I’m loving the new door fronts and more modern base. This buffet has ample storage inside and would work great as a side table, console or coffee bar as well.
