"You don't always have to create an opaque full coverage look with General Finishes Milk Paint! Take this antique VanSciver hutch for example.   The wood was too beautiful to completely cover up, so I applied a few thin layers of Lamp Black Milk Paint and wiped away the excess. The effect allows the wood to still peek through while providing a new and updated finish."
