Lamp Black Industrial Style Island

Custom Built Industrial Island/Entertainment/Store Display A ground up custom build. 2" thick tongue and groove board and batten end pieces are reclaimed from a Chicago Elevator shaft. Fully finished in General Finishes Lamp Black. Antique corner mount solid cast wheels have been added to each corner (2 additional wheels have been added under the center for additional support) This piece was designed to hold the 6 vintage steel Industrial drawers. Each drawer has been drilled out and glides bolted on for for smooth functioning. Piece is identical on both sides and drawers are accessible from each side. Drawers have been lined with heavy rubber grip liners so contents will not shift when accessed from either side. Udermount glass racks have been installed beneath each side shelf. Each end has iron rails added for towels, etc. 2" thick 100+ year old barn timber custom created top with breadboard ends. The original elevator plate from Otis Elevator was salvaged and added to the piece to provide provenance. This is a one of a kind custom build
