Lamp Black Dresser

"You can never go wrong with a black piece of furniture. It is such a rich, classic color choice. I painted this vintage cherry wood dresser in Lamp Black by General Finishes. The top was sanded to bare wood and again, Lamp Black was used as a color wash. The natural tones from the cherry wood mixed with the black created the beautiful wood toned top. An all natural furniture salve called Board & Boot by Melange Artisan Mineral Paintswas used to seal the paint as we as condition the inside of the drawers. It is made with organic hemp oil and beeswax scented with essential oil’s (smells amazing!!)I replaced the original wood knobs with some stylish leather pulls to complete the look. I think they add a touch of sophistication, don’t you agree?"
