"I love a good before and after! This was pretty gross beforehand, but it’s a solid wood, sturdy piece.
Stripped and sanded off the original cracked paint. Refinished in General Finishes Lamp Black. Interior done is a dark olive green. Added wood to the door front for an extra pop and stained in special walnut. New hardware throughout. The large handle on the door was salvaged from a barn in Wisconsin. (I’ve had it for 3 years but never found a good piece for it until now!)" - Elm Street Designs
