"Empire furniture has ALWAYS been a favorite of mine so I was so happy when my client asked me to give this piece a facelift! We started by stripping off layers of paint taking her down to the bare wood so that her new finish would be silky smooth. We stained her top in General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain and topped her with layers of HPTC for that glossy shine. Her body was painted in creamy Antique White Poly for a smooth satin finish." - Twig & Thyme Design
