About This Post
"We used General Finishes Coastal Blue, a beautiful navy, for the bodies. I did very intentional distressing on the hard edges of the base and used Liquid Leaf in brass to recreate the original gold on the legs. For the tops, I started with General Finishes Water Based Stain in Walnut as my base and then layered paint and stain by dry brushing as well as paint washes. I used Dark Chocolate, Cardamom, Snow White and Antique White Milk Paint as well as more Walnut and Antique Oak stain. The tables were sealed with High Performance Topcoat in satin for the perfect sheen.
All of the original hardware was removed, scrubbed and shined up and we replaced all of the original nails/tacks with fresh, new brass nails. They’re glamorous and rustic and so unique and suit my client and her sweet home perfectly." - Newbac Designs
