"Painted in my favorite Lamp Black from General Finishes and Snow White interior. This cabinet is perfect for that modern farmhouse feel!"
"This piece was made between 1871 and 1900 because of the beautiful Knapp Joints on the drawers (those cute little scalloped joints in the second pic.) Knapp joints were only used for this short period of time in history. So that would make it between 120-149 years old! How cool is that?!   It is made from all solid Walnut with the exception of the burl veneer on the drawers and door front. I just couldn’t paint this beauty! It was missing it’s top so I made a new wood plank top painted...

"One of my favorite things is when a client gives me an inspiration picture for the furniture she wants me to makeover. It was fun to layer all the colors to get just the right depth and texture for this entry table. I used General Finishes paint in Perfect Gray, Queenstown Gray, Snow White, Seagull Gray, mixed a few combinations in between, and did a subtle white wash over it all. I love how it turned out! "This beauty is ready to go home! Isn’t it gorgeous?! This piece was refinished using a custom mix of Coastal Blue and Snow White Milk Paints from General Finishes. Absolutely love the way it turned out!"

We unearthed Jemma from a basement as an old workbench- and found that she was quite possibly the end cap to an old general store counter.
After stripping the top, we figured she would make a KILLER mobile kitchen work station....
So a little Strip, a little sand, a little prime, a little paint and Shiplap, and finishes, and wheels and pulls, and OMG!!! ... this turned into WAY more work and supplies than I thought.

But VOILA~!!!!
We have an absolutely AMAZING...

"You won’t want to keep your distance from Cliff. He is charming, versatile and neutral. Besides using him as a dresser he would make a great changing table, entry catch-all or even a media center. His body is a custom light gray color mixed with General Finishes Empire Gray and Snow White and slight distressing. The drawers have been rebuilt, painted in GF Queenstown and now function perfectly with updated matte black hardware. The top is in stained in a layer of Minwax weathered oak followed...

"Who remembers this Antique dresser & nightstand? We had posted this set a few months ago and a client, a designer reached out to have us customize them for her daughters room. She went back and forth on white and blush and fInally decided on the white with just a peek of blush on the drawers sides. And this folks is a perfect example why I L❤️VE and why I’m obsessed with white. Forever timeless, Forever classic. Can’t wait to see them in the room once it’s finished! General Finishes...

Stripping this thrift-store find down to her bones, I rebuilt her to last another lifetime! Using General Finishes Weathered Grey on the entire piece, I brought out the beautiful wood grain she had hiding beneth the surface of her old garb. After allowing her to dry, I lightly sanded with a 400 grit to accent the wood grain further. To lighten the piece up even more, I used a mix of General FInishes Snow White and water to make my own white wash to place around her outside and edges, leaving...

These are one of my favorite projects to date. They were falling apart and needed a lot of loving. I fixed them up and stained/painted them to be the seating area in my studio. I love how they turned out!

Unusual commode, simple, with interesting dimensions. In a narrow range of cold colors where blues and purples permeate each other. Layered applied General Finishes paint in Klein Blue, Royal Purple, Coastal Blue, Lime Green, Snow White. The shimmering metallic effect of Pearl Effect in gold and Brick Red was applied on the spot. Visible cracks and splinters add "years". The center is an energizing plum.

This Blue Jean Girl is stunning!

I'm in love with Coastal Blue and it brought out the modern look of this piece.  With the brushed snow white on the drawers that where sanded back to give it a jean look.

"Another stunning custom piece. This one a Drexel from our inventory. The client had a vision of modern meets classic and I think this is it. We used General Finishes Driftwood and a custom mix of Seagull Gray and Snow White to create this master piece. Most of what we do is custom painting. We love working with our clients to turn furniture into works of art. If you are looking for that one of a kind statement piece, message us for details on how we can help." - The Charming Home

Ahhhh.... the snow white dream kitchen! Who wouldn't love to shuffle into this beauty each morning for that perfect cup of coffee! These cabinets once boasted a stained and glazed Tuscan look, but the final stage of this kitchen transformation was painting the cabinets a beautiful pristine white. We all know how hard pure white can be to achieve that perfect look, but General Finishes milk paint in Snow White rose to the task! The island compliments in General Finishes milk paint in...

This kitchen was overload of honey oak, when starting, making it outdated and dark. It was quickly modernized into a brighter space by painting the cabinets and updating the hardware. The kitchen island was painted a different color to add some contrast.

This is a bathroom I refinished for a client's beach home. She wanted a coastal chippy look but wanted the cabinets to be smooth to the touch and durable.

his honey oak kitchen was needing some love!

For this project, I cleaned the cupboards and doors three times using dawn and water, krud clutter, and then plain old water. Next, I sanded the wood with a 220 grit and cleaned off with rustoleum branded tack cloth.

Because I was painting oak, I primed the cupboards with 3 coats of Kilz Stain blocking primer, with a light sand in between each coat with a 400+ grit paper. The top cupboards took 3 coats of...

Brick Red + Snow White

Stunning kitchen cabinets in General Finishes Snow White and Driftwood Milk Paint by Boxwood & Brass

I fell in love with this piece and wanted to give it a modern spin, but keep the natural beauty of the wood.

I painted the body stain blocker and snow white milk paint.  After sanding the wood I loved the natural wood and the different colors that showed with each drawers so I just sealed with with Gel poly and the ombre' wood colors came to life.

Painted table with crackled General Finishes Lamp black milk paint and a General Finishes Snow White base layer. Decoupaged drawers in a black and white damask pattern.

I wanted to do something bold and elegant with this vintage dresser.  The shell was painted in a rich black and the drawers in a bright white.  I added a beautiful transfer to the drawers adding to its elegance.  Some added details include the appliqués on the top door fronts, decoupaged paper on the drawer sides and inside doors, Black crystal drawer knobs and finally bold and bright flowered fabric for the drawer liners. It turned out beautifully.

Not going to lie- this little bathroom vanity is oh so vain. Who can blame her with such character and details? Glamorous gold flaunting and delicate wood moldings enhance the luxurious styling of this repurposed sewing cabinet. More chic than shabby, this modern twist to farmhouse decor is just what your powder room needs! Hand painted with General Finishes Snow White and Lamp Black, and sealed with their top coat.

Blended from Snow White to lamp black with gold hardware. She is the perfect size for a small buffet or for a statement piece in your entry way

This dresser was painted to resemble a "locker" for my son's baseball bedroom. It has been painted with GF Lamp Black and the numbers were painted with GF Snow White.

This white, black and maple dresser is for the modern-farmhouse lover! I know it sounds crazy but I got my inspiration from one of Joanna Gaines' door mats in her Hearth and Hand line at Target. My pattern is slightly different but it still resembles the design. Products used are Snow White, Lamp Black and HPTC in flat.

This oak chest-of-drawers was brought back to life with a mixture of GF Snow White and Antique White. The handles were orginally rust/iron, but I dry brushed and sanded them with GF Lamp Black to give the piece some character. The whole thing was sealed with GF HPTC, flat.

Wow!  Vintage transformed into modern!

You can’t go wrong with this weathered messanger dresser.  Perfect for your office or bedroom!

This beautiful Thomasville buffet did not sell in its original dated condition. The brass hardware was removed from the back and the top stripped and sanded down to remove all scratches and rings. The top was stained expresso and the body was painted in a rich custom mixed bright turqouise. It was then glazed with GF pitch black glaze and crumpled bags were used to get the faux effect. The entire piece was topcoated with GF High Performance Topcoat in flat. The result is an updated buffet/...

"General Finishes announced their new colors in the Milk Paint Line and I’m finally revealing the first one that I tried! This dresser was painted in Ballet Pink, a soft pretty pink color. The drawer faces were painted in Snow White with a gold geometric design for visual interest. I’m so excited to try out all the new colors and spraying another new one right now, stay tuned for the reveal coming soon!" - Flipping Unbelievable

"Look at all that blue yumminess! This big dresser was beautiful knotty pine to begin with but I thought it could use a little facelift. It’s been painted with a custom blue using General Finishes Snow White, Antique White, Coastal Blue and Federal Blue. Federal Blue is a discontinued color, that I absolutely love, but I happened to find some several months ago and have been squirreling it away. Silly right? I decided it was time to break it open! The wash is Antique White and I custom mixed...

Fun and functional, this Mid-Century three drawer dresser pops with color and style! It was rescued from a bike repair shop, found when looking at another piece of furniture. It was in pieces and had extensive damage. It was painted in a very safe grey and black, but was virtually ignored for months so another makeover was due! Multiple colors were used to create a mod geometric pattern reminiscent of this era. The entire piece is covered in the best top coat on the market, General Finishes...
