About This Post
"This is my first time painting a dresser black and I don’t know why I haven’t done it sooner. To prepare this piece I lightly sanded the top with fine grit sandpaper and then got to painting. Because I wanted the dresser to be heavily distressed I only had to use one coat of General Finishes Milk Paint in Lamp Black. After distressing I put on two coats of General Finishes High Performance Topcoat in Flat. This was a pretty fast project since I only had to use one coat of paint, which I loved." - Farm Fresh Homestead
