About This Post
Oh, how I am loving this piece!! This takes me right back to Grandma and Grandpa's house!! Midcentury Modern Awesomeness!! It was pretty much a no-brainer deciding how to handle this one. I wanted it clean, and I wanted it simple. I had to preserve the look of the wood grain on the front, so I went with my go-to stain which is General Finishes Java Gel Stain. I used that on the cabinet doors and fronts of the drawers. The body of the dresser and the handles of the cabinet doors and drawers got two coats of GF Antique White Milk Paint, and the piece is sealed with GF High Performance Top Coat in the flat finish. Pure. Clean. Simple. LOVE!!! - Jen's Furniture Rehab
