Made Over Poker Table

"I went all in on this project. It was a win, lose or draw situation and I I think that I won! What do you think? My client had asked if I could update their vintage, handmade poker table. I must say, I was a little hesitant, but, I enjoy challenging myself! I used a combination of stain and paint on this. The paint is Lamp Black by General Finishes and the stain is Luxe Tones Weathered by The Chippy Barn . Besides the paint & stain, I made the drink holder circles bigger so that they can accommodate pint glasses, cans or bottles. The original size could only fit a small plastic cup. The center area was recovered in a poker grade speed-cloth rather then felt. The upside to this is it repels liquid and will hold up better. It has a fun poker pattern on it."
