"Took a couple additional challenging steps to recreate this piece but I’m so glad I had the chance to do it. Unfortunately the veneer on the top and both sides was in very poor condition and needed to be removed. Luckily I was able to save the bottom portion of the waterfall design and literally cut it horizontally so I could remove to top portion and then apply a border appliqué. The top and sides were then painted in General Finishes Lamp Black along with the borders of the whole vanity....

The one truly great thing about the real estate market is its predictability – one way or another, the growing population will always need a place to live. That is why investing in an old house almost always turns a profit. Depending on the room, ROI can range anywhere between 54% and 87%.

However, it is important to remember that not all upgrades are the same. Let’s take a...

Our return client lives in a modern rustic house on 5 acres. She has a keen eye for art and asked us to be creative. This was a painters dream! We found an inspiration piece and went to work. We hand painted GF Antique White using a crosshatch method. GF Brick Red and Somerset Gold were painted in meandering stripes. A wash of Antique White was used over the red. The hardware was sprayed in Rustoleum Black Spray Paint.

This old gal brings flair to any room . Not your tech look. But for those of us that beat to a different drum and live of the beated path. Its the perfect fit.

This simple chest of drawers was transformed into a chest of drawers any fan of superheros would LOVE to have! First, the image and the knobs were purchased and then we waited patiently for the right piece to come in. This Mid Century Modern piece was it. Perfect simple lines and the legs were the perfect KA-POW to give this piece the perfect amount of character! Transformed into a Captain America masterpiece! WOW!

This white, black and maple dresser is for the modern-farmhouse lover! I know it sounds crazy but I got my inspiration from one of Joanna Gaines' door mats in her Hearth and Hand line at Target. My pattern is slightly different but it still resembles the design. Products used are Snow White, Lamp Black and HPTC in flat.

Twilight with raised stencilling highlighted in Alabaster and Holiday Red Milk Paint.

This dresser was ugly, drab and boring. Can you imagine feeling ugly, drab and boring and then you add a little lipstick, mascara, gloss and Nars bronzer (gold leaf) and just be walking around looking sunkissed for all the world to see? Yup...calling this piece Nars. Clean, sleek and artsy fartsy.

This pantry door was SO FUN to paint... and it was also for my own kitchen (YAY!) so I could reallly get creative with it! It’s actually “half” of a French door set that I found at our local Habitat ReStore.... and what do you know, it was the EXACT size of our pantry door... easy swap!!!

It all started with a coat of “Costal Blue”... I was going to distress and stop there... but since I was keeping it for myself, I decided to have a little bit of fun!  I started getting carried away...

Fun and functional, this Mid-Century three drawer dresser pops with color and style! It was rescued from a bike repair shop, found when looking at another piece of furniture. It was in pieces and had extensive damage. It was painted in a very safe grey and black, but was virtually ignored for months so another makeover was due! Multiple colors were used to create a mod geometric pattern reminiscent of this era. The entire piece is covered in the best top coat on the market, General Finishes...

This piece was sanded to its natural finish and glazed with Winter White Glaze Effects by General Finishes! We are in love with this finish!" - Belle Maison
"I finally finished the campaign dresser set. I know a lot of you suggested Navy but I knew the French Quarter Green from Jolie Home LLC would be perfect for the look I wanted to achieve. This stunning emerald green is so vibrant and rich that it makes the brass standout. I sealed with their creamy wax for a matte finish. I love the basket weave stencil from redesign with prima. Paired with the green and in General Finishes Bone White (Chalk Style Paint), it gives it a modern boho vibe. I also...

"Because I just can't leave well enough alone, I decided to redo the drawers on this MCM dresser (that I previously posted) and I'm so glad I did! I let the clean lines of the MCM style dictate the design for the dresser, adding a geometric look with the design on front and hexagon pattern drawer liner. The frame was painted in General Finishes Seagull Gray with a semi gloss finish. I tried their White Poly (which I love) on the drawer fronts and then taped off the design and sprayed with...

This 26 1/2 foot long project was installed in the breakroom of a global spirits manufacturer.  75 year old retired barrels were broken down and the pieces were pressure washed to prepare them for finishing.  Two coats of GF Clear Poly in Satin covered the backs of the barrel staves and three coats on the front brought 75 years’ worth of life and history back out of the tired old pieces.  The full pieces were basket weaved and the small segments of staves were cobblestone pieced like a...
