"This cedar chest came to me in need of help. It was previously painted black but the paint job had already started chipping (unintentionally). Also it had a broken back foot. I secured help from a local furniture fixer to replace the broken foot, then got to work stripping off the previous paint job. Proper prep, primer, paint and topcoat and now this cedar chest is ready for years of use!

An orangey pine corner unit, although lovely just didn't fit into my clients decor. Her choice of colour was GF Linen. Leaving some wood added a modern twist on this lovely piece which I stained in colron light antique oak.

I've spent a week working on the 100+ year old white Italian marble.
Although still a faint shadow...a million times improvement.
These pieces have had a life, a journey and sometimes there's a "hiccup" along the way.
The mark was left from the original wood top piece that sat on the marble for years. (It was NOT an attractive top piece and the mirror was too far gone to save BUT those items are safely stored to be reincarnated at a future time)
