Oil Based Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner

"Do you love neutral with a little FLAIR?!? This might be the perfect piece for you! Painted in Mélange Artisan Mineral Paints Willow Green and stained in a custom combo of General Finishes Natural and Flint Liquid Oil Stains, it gives such a chill and laid back vibe." - Upcycling by Amy
"Talk about HANDSOME!!! This table is a treasured family heirloom of Christina and her family. Originally belonging to her great great grandma! To say the pressure was on was an understatement! We decided to remove all of the veneer on both shelves since it was VERY damaged. Sanded it all down, treated it with a coat of General Finishes Pre-Stain Conditioner since the shelves are made of a different wood than the legs. I needed all the help I could get to get the stain to go on nice and...

Have constant power running to this tool helps with consistent results. I find it more powerful and I never need to worry about a battery running out. It’s...

This project is a combination of a tile top table and a portable coaster.  The tile was custom made at a local pottery shop.  The table was inspired by the splay-legged table by Garrett Hack.  The top and aprons are natural cherry. The legs are stained cherry.  General Finishes products were used to complete the project.  The wood conditioner and stain were straightforward and easy to use.  For the topcoat I found applying the finish with a foam brush and wiping the excess off with a cloth...

The top is stained with General Finishes Danish Teak after using GF Wood Conditioner, & sealed with GF Arm-R-Seal.

The Shabby Chicas located at Homestead Handcrafts_ refinished these charming side tables with Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner then 3 coats of General Finishes Prairie Wheat Gel Stain and sealed with Arm-R-Seal in Gloss for maximum protection. To recreate the look, we recommend our Corinth Blue Milk Paint - the base was finished with ASCP in Provence and sealed with our High Performance Top Coat in Satin!
