This amazing Stanley faux bamboo tall cabinet/dresser got a super fun makeover and is headed to its new home this afternoon! The body was painted in General Finishes Blue Moon Milk Paint and the inside shelving was painted in the color Patina Green. Hardware was left untouched and totally original for some vintage character."

This look was achieved with General Finishes Candlelite and Java Gel Stains and Pitch Black Glaze Effects to give a deeper black tone to top and sides.
We unearthed Jemma from a basement as an old workbench- and found that she was quite possibly the end cap to an old general store counter.
After stripping the top, we figured she would make a KILLER mobile kitchen work station....
So a little Strip, a little sand, a little prime, a little paint and Shiplap, and finishes, and wheels and pulls, and OMG!!! ... this turned into WAY more work and supplies than I thought.
But VOILA~!!!!

The top is stained in Whitewash wood stain and the whole piece is sealed in GF High Performance top coat in Flat. The fun Aztec inspired transfer really adds a fun POP as well, don't cha think?!? Who loves the look?!?"

This beautiful mid century modern dresser was manufactured by West Michigan Furniture Co. right here in Holland! I found this in the attic of a home that was being torn down, I am so glad I was able to rescue it.
The top and drawer fronts were stained in General Finishs Antique walnut gel stain and the remainder of the body painted in lamp black, one of my favorite colors combinations. New more current hardware was added to complete this transformation.

I knew I was going to paint it while stuck at home during quarantine but ironically a client messaged me and asked me to paint it for her. Funny how things work out.
