Linen

"I'm thrilled to share this beautiful Demi Lune hallway chest I recently crafted for a valued return client. She chose the exquisite shade Linen by General Finishes and I must say, it's a perfect match for this timeless piece. This elegant addition is set to grace their brand-new home, and I couldn't be happier for them. Being entrusted with the task of refinishing several pieces for their new space is truly an honor." - The Picket Fence of Celina, TX   s.
"When first eyeing this beaut, I had no idea what the plan was. She is old and was definitely begging for a makeover. I looked her over and thought she might be an "easy-sand", and if so, a wood "wash" with General Finishes Linen would be perfect. Luckily, this project went according to plan. She has been made new again and is ready to live on with her new, sophisticated look. Her drawers have been lined with a linen fabric and she features white marbled knobs. I say this often, but once...
"I’m digging the neutral tones in this one. I really wanted to update the legs. The skirting is solid oak, so instead of adding legs, I had the husband square them off for a more modern look. I love how it turned out.   I used all General Finishes product. I started out with 2 coats of Linen and then sanded and distressed. I made a custom glaze using High Performance Topcoat + Walnut and Onyx Water Based Stains for a deep brown." - ReFabulous Finds by Christina

A 50/50 blend of General Finishes Linen and General Finishes Holiday Red, then I wet blended with Linen applying both the mix and the linen with the same brush.  The 50/50 blend was then placed in a water bottle with a 60/40 water to paint ratio, and I sprayed starting at the top of the dresser for some cool weathering and a drippy effect. This petite antique writing has lovely proportions and a solid frame so just needed a visual update to make her more modern.
