"This client owned dresser set was refinished using General Finishes Empire Gray Milk Paint and was glazed with Burnished Pearl, Argentine Pearl, and Pitch Black Glaze Effects! It turned out amazing!"
"I had planned to put the paint brush down for all of Christmas break but I just couldn’t! I didn’t want to distract from all the beautiful curves on this console table so I kept the paint simple and bright. The bottom was painted with General Finishes Brushable White Enamel while the top was first painted in Empire Gray, followed by a white wash and finished with a dry brushing of Van Dyke Brown Glaze. New black hardware and floral lined drawers complete this New Years revival."
"Petite server with the most adorable details. This is my first smaller sized buffet, I don’t find these very often!
Color: Empire Gray by General Finishes"
"This stately piece is finally ready to serve in style for the holidays. Can you believe it sat in the workshop for months just hanging out. So happy it finally spoke to me. Sometimes pieces just need time to let us know what outfit they want to wear. This one wanted to be classic and able to dress your space for years to come. This is General Finishes Empire Gray and the fabulous D. Lawless Hardware drop pulls."

What was once a well loved and badly worn vanity, is now a charming pair of long legged nightstands. We began this project by separating the side portions of the vanity from the center to form two separate nightstands. Extensive repairs were completed to fix wood and veneer damage as well as molds being made to mimic missing trim on the draw fronts. Once this lovely pair was structurally solid, we cleaned and prepped our surface for paint and stain. The body of each was hand painted in...
With a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our Chalk Style Paint line. We've decided to focus on Milk Paint, the most durable paint for furniture and cabinets.
Not to worry though; we've moved our two most popular Chalk Style Paint colors, Empire Gray and Key West Blue!
"Gave my media console a makeover with paint, faux wood grain, and redesign with prima's Seaweed transfers. I'm loving this coastal look." - Eclat Designs by Crystin
"My Minimalist Coffee Table is finally complete. This one took much longer than my usual projects for many reasons. My original vision was derailed after I wasn't able to strip it completely of the horrid paint. I decided to try my hand at wood graining for the first time and I'm in love. No more excuses for not being able to achieve a wood look for me anymore. I also did some faux wood graining with paint on the side panels as well. I had painted it white first but it was too stark of a...
"This little table was sporting a heavy cherry stain and an ugly chippendale handle when I got my hands on it. I swapped the handle out for an older one with worn patina, and gave it a neutral gray treatment with General Finishes Empire Gray Chalk Style Paint. To further soften it, I sealed it with Furniture and White Wax by Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint."

"This piece has been in my entry foyer for years but it has gotten dinged up and chipped and I was tired of the dark color so I decided it was time for a change! I mixed a custom color using General Finishes Chalk Style Paints in equal parts of Bayberry Green and Empire Gray to create this soft farmhouse color. I also blended a little Bone White to add subtle highlights and some Dark Chocolate Milk Paint for the shaded areas. The top was done in a base of Empire Gray and a few washes of the...

"We could not part with this old French hutch top. Our daughter took the bottom. Bring to short, we built 2 new drawers on a deck and attached the old top. We added 5 new bun feet and painted it Empire Gray from the GF Chalk Style paint line. We then added weathered grey stain over the top to bring the tones together. It now adorns our entry way and holds or small treasures." - Hello I Live Here

"This week, I was lucky enough to try General Finishes new chalk paint line. I mixed half part Black Pepper to half part Empire Gray and created a gorgeous deep gray/almost black hue. While drying, I dabbed the black onto my brush to basically streaked it over the deep gray. I only lightly brushed over the detailed sides to highlight the design and then used 220 grit sandpaper to distress it. The whole piece was easily sealed in General Finishes Flat Out Flat topcoat. I used a simple sponge...
