Two Tone Gel Stain Dresser

This piece will be headed to the mountains with the last piece. This beautiful oak chest was purchase ATOP Rummage and brought to us to be refinished. We decided on General Finishes Brown Mahogany and Java Gel Stains for the color. We stripped it down to bare wood and applied the new stains. We finished it with GF Enduro Poly and then used GF Espresso as a toner over the whole piece to get rid of the orange still trying to peak through. The color design came from Pam at Pulliam Morris Interiors. It turned out absolutely amazing! I absolutely love the two toned look and I wish you could see the texture in the grain. Pictures do not do it justice! Love using water based finishes over oil based stains!!
