Shabby Chic Antique White Hutch

This two piece hutch is a wonderful piece of hand wrought awesomeness!! It's not from any factory! The woman I acquired it from said it came from Pennsylvania, so it's possible that it could be Amish. Every bit of it is hand crafted. The doves in the drawers are large and rough and definitely carved by hand, and you can see this everywhere on the piece down to the curls on the toes! It screamed French Country" to me, so I went full on shabby chic with General Finishes Milk Paint in Antique White which I distressed generously. On the inside, I used a 50/50 mix of GF Milk Paint in Persian Blue and Seagull Grey." - Jen's Furniture Rehab​
