Cassie of Primitive & Proper took this $30 midcentury thrift store dresser a face lift with General Finishes Java Gel Stain. Cassie wanted to maintain the vintage charm with out staining it too dark. So Cassie gave the dresser a light sanding and applied the Java Gel with a rag, letting it sit 3-5 minutes before wiping off. The result is this wonderful warm tone. Looks great!
