Melinda of Crimson + Oak Designs submitted this dashing desk to the Cinderella Story category of the 2016 GF Design Challenge Contest.
"A true trash to treasure - this vintage desk was rescued from the curb after it had been sitting in the rain!
The finish was chipping, cracking and peeling. The wood on the feet was soft and spongy. It took several days of stripping off old finish and then drying with a heater to get it back to a point where I could even apply the gel stain and paint.
You cannot deny the absolute miraculous power of General Finishes Gel Stain after looking at the transformation it gave this stunning piece!"
