About This Post
"Not every roadside find turns out to be real wood and this is exactly what I encountered with these. Composite materials don’t stain well or consistently but I promised my client I would do my best to achieve the wood look he was after.
I removed all the old paint, primed and then spray finished these bedside tables using General Finishes Dark Chocolate Milk Paint to resemble a rich espresso stain look. I sanded the tops out and then created a “faux” wood grain look. First time for everything! New smaller silver hardware was added. The surfaces have all been sealed with General Finishes High Performance Topcoat in Satin. I’m thrilled with the results." - Paint and Hammer
