"I completely stripped this dresser to the original oak, sanded with 5 grades of sandpaper, sealed the wood, applied Gel Stain by General Finishes in Colonial Maple and top coated with 3 coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal. We made new drawer bottoms and I stained, painted and stenciled the insides and sides of the drawers and then finished with Wise Owl Lemon Verbena Furniture Salve. Added new hardware. Repaired and new backing on the mirror. Cleaned up and painted the casters and mirror hardware with Rustoleum Rubbed Bronze and she is updated and like new without losing her original style." - The Splintered Seat
