"I recently restored these staircases and their handrails in a historic building in Newburgh, NY. The handrails are a mix of old existing walnut, and new walnut where the handrails & fittings were missing. On these handrails I used GF Antique Walnut Gel Stain and 2 coats of Arm-R-Seal gloss followed by 1 coat of Arm-R-Seal satin. I really love the deep rich quality of the Gel Stain and the way that the Arm-R-Seal lays down, and how these products can be easily hand applied."
