Porta Verde Studio gave this 1930's vanity a complete makeover. UN-REFINISHING WITH JAVA GEL! I dragged out a very tired, scratched and chipped vanity and bench from storage but rather than refinishing or painting them, I cleaned them thoroughly and then I used thinned General Finishes java Gel Stain and did a glaze coat and wiped it back. This is the result. Amazingly, it looks like the original antique patina and buffed up to a very nice sheen level. It saved so much work! Thanks General Finishes!
