Textured Java Cabinet

Jason Hoy from Home Designs Faux You, by "Jason" created the finish for this thin textured cabinet door using strips of ripped paper with some overlapping. However, Jason says he can't tell his secret technique for the thicker textured look. All we know is that Jason used Java Gel Stain for both! "I've heard from other people that compounds are used in making this textured look.....however, in this case I'm stating that I used- 0 compounds for this cabinet door.....this door was done with 100% paint.
