Spiced Walnut

A small cabinet started out with an amber hue. My client wanted something in the walnut family, so I applied General Finishes Spiced Walnut. Looks pretty darn good

"I never get tired of seeing the power of paint…and stain.  For this makeover I used the color Anchor from Dixie Belle Paint and Spiced Walnut Oil Stain from General Finishes." - A Life Refurbished

"It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Here is our new porch bar built out of ash. It is completed in GF Antique White mixed with a touch of Queenstown Gray. The top is done in GF Oil Spiced Walnut and the whole piece including the stools are top coated with GF Exterior 450 in semi gloss." - Pops Restorations
Amazing little planked side table by Angela of Number Fifty-Three!   Angela says, "I mixed my two favorite General Finishes paints, Antique White and Patina Green and came up with the most gorgeous aqua. (I mixed approximately one half cup white with two teaspoons green.) Isn't it the most perfect cottage/farmhouse color!?! In all the years that I have used GF products I have always stuck to their gel stain. I've totally missed out! This piece was finished in their Spiced Walnut Liquid...

"I picked up a bunch of these chairs from an old church in Denver. They are original to the church which was built in 1920's. I sanded this set, used 50/50 Shellac/D-Natured Alcohol conditioner. I then stained them in General Finishes 'Spiced Walnut'(liquid oil based stain). I did two coats and waited 24 hrs between coats. Some areas wouldn't take the stain so I dry brushed some GF gel stain in Java in those areas. It magically blended it all together. Sealed with GF's Arm-R-Seal." - Rehab to...
Rehab to Fab says, "This solid oak chest screamed make me new again. I painted the the frame with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in 'Curio' & the inside, top, backsplash, drawer fronts & side slats got a good soaking of tinted Hemp Oil. Tinted with General Finishes Oil Based Spiced Walnut stain. Distressed Antique Bronze Bin pulls finish the piece off. I wanted to keep it more original & not cover it completely with paint."

Larry Webb has created the bench portion a beautiful built-in cubby. The bench base was painted in GF's Antique White Milk Paint and the top was stained with GF's Spiced Walnut Liquid Oil Based Wood Stain.

Artist's Note:
All stains must be sealed with top coat. We recommend sealing GF's Liquid Oil Based Stains with Arm-R-Seal.
