After months of searching for the perfect book cabinet and not finding anything I loved, I finally decided to order a custom unfinished piece. Fenton MacLaren's in Berkeley, CA made this alder bookcase for me and I was beyond excited to finish it! Past Thymes Market refinished this metallic masterpiece using General Finishes Queenstown Gray Milk Paint topped with a custom mix of Dark Chocolate Milk Paint and Burnished Pearl Effects. A custom glaze was created by combining Lamp Black Milk Paint with Clear Glaze Base. The entire project was sealed with High Performance Top coat.
This sweet table was refinished by Nicole of Past Thymes Market using Driftwood Milk Paint as a base topped with Antique White and then Lamp Black Milk Paint glaze. Each glaze was made by mixing 50% Milk Paint to 50% Clear Glaze Base. The entire table was sealed for lasting protection using High Performance Flat.
"Loved how it turned out." -Nicole

"I chose to glaze mine with an absolutely awesome product by General Finishes. They sell a clear glaze that you can alter to any color you want just by adding in a bit of paint. Opens up a whole knew world I tell you! When you use it on bare wood it creates this gorgeous, time worn stained appearance. I...
