This unique vintage dresser was refinished in an olive green, distressed and black waxed. The original hardware was waxed in an antique bronze with black and highlighted with white gold.
The top was lightly sanded, stained with General Finishes Tobacco stain and top coated.

"This piece is GREEN with envy! This cabinet was my Granny and Gramps from my dad's side of the family aka my OWN family heirloom. It was in ROUGH shape from years of use. Missing veneer pieces, piece of the ornate feet had fallen off over the years and the top had multiple water rings. Lastly, the cabinet door was cracked and would no longer hold the screws in the hinges. It may have been in a sad state but it was DEFINITELY worth saving.

"For this piece, it was taken from all over red wood tone and sprayed in General Finishes Black Poly. The massive top surface was stripped and stained with GF water based stain in Tobacco. But let’s talk about the details on those legs?? They were accented using Rub n Buff gold accent wax"

Stunning hand applied three dimensional raised floral finish added to all 6 drawer fronts with an antique wash of General Finishes Lamp Black on the floral followed by slight hand rubbing of GF Black Gel Stain to "age" and deepen some areas to allow the beautiful wood tones to show through."
I mixed a little GF Graystone waterbased stain with Tobacco to lighten it a smidge on this piece. The paint on this piece is GF’s Brushable White Enamel.
