As soon as the paint dried Angela distressed it to give it a worn look and the top was stained with the ever popular GF Java Gel Stain.

"This shabby and one of a kind piece (also a true 100+ year old antique) was inspired by those beautiful boat oars that you may see with amazing color and patterns painted all over them. Cassie of Primitive & Proper found this vintage desk at a yard sale and decided to give it a new look. She gave it a light sanding and stained the top with GF Java Gel Stain. The base was painted with 2 coats of GF Coastal Blue Milk Paint. For protection and durability Cassie used our water based High Performance Top Coat in flat. The finished look is great! As of now, this piece is still available at Sweet Clover. Hurry in and give him a new home!

The inside is painted with GF Snow White Milk Paint and the green outside was glazed with our Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. For a similar green color we recommend our Emerald Green Milk Paint. Tara from Modern Vintage created this great looking table."This table had a bad top so it was replaced with random boards I found around my workshop, all painted a little different, and even threw in some polka dots."
