"I mixed General Finishes Coastal Blue with Emerald Green, and while I was going for a dark teal, it came out more like a Hunter Green. Which was still so pretty and really compliments the wood tones. I watered down the paint about 50/50, and brushed it on just like I was painting, but a thinner coat. Once dry, I sanded heavily with 80 or 120 grit paper. It left it looking pretty scratchy, so everything got a coat of High Performance Poly in flat finish. It gives it a really pretty shine, and...

The result was a beautiful peacock color that was on the green side of the fence. Distressing brought out the pretty golden wood tones underneath. The Green Bureau created another fabulous custom Milk Paint mix! This green was created using GF's Emerald Green Milk Paint with just a small amount of Coastal Blue Milk Paint, and the proportions are roughly 5 or 6 parts to 1. Loving it! The Green Bureau says, "This large and lovely vintage bow-front dresser was painted in a custom shade of General Finishes green Milk Paint, lightly distressed, glazed just on the details, and all finished with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat."

The Jolly Green Giant by Modern Vintage "This used to be a cabinet, but with the doors removed it is an open shelf ready for books or baskets or anything in between. It's been painted a bold green that has been toned down a bit with the dark stained top and drawers. Dressed up with a tiny bit of fancy on the original pulls."
