This set symbolizes home for me. When you grow up with the Snake River canyon and the Perrine Bridge in your everyday scenery, it’s easy to take this magnificent view for granted. Moving away from it for a few years while I went away for college brought a whole new appreciation for it.

Every once in awhile I’ll make a set that I can’t help but shake my head at and say I can’t believe I made this. This is one of those sets. Using 5 different shades of stain and several layers of stencils I was able to create a piece of art with depth.
