There’s still a little bit more work that needs to be done to the trim but how pretty is this fireplace?! We painted this using General Finishes Reverent Gray, Queenstown Gray, Cardamom, Basil, and Persian Blue. To add a little sparkle we glazed the whole...

"My client dropped off this chair to be refinished and told me an awesome story of how this chair came to her. Apparently there was a running joke in her family that her mom was not allowed to use the checkbook, and that was because of this chair. Around 60 years ago she purchased 2 of these chairs at $600 each. That’s a lot of money back then!! Heck that’s a lot of money today!
Her husband was a little upset when he found out the purchase price. Now that the chair was passed down, I’m...

I've loved seeing other refinisher's green pieces but it never spoke to me as a color I wanted to paint myself, until I was looking for inspiration for this hutch. I just knew it was going to be white but I was just scrolling through pinterest one day and BAM! I saw a green hutch and my whole mindset shifted. And so this beautiful eucalyptus green hutch was born. And now I want to paint all the things green...

This pantry door was SO FUN to paint... and it was also for my own kitchen (YAY!) so I could reallly get creative with it! It’s actually “half” of a French door set that I found at our local Habitat ReStore.... and what do you know, it was the EXACT size of our pantry door... easy swap!!!
It all started with a coat of “Costal Blue”... I was going to distress and stop there... but since I was keeping it for myself, I decided to have a little bit of fun! I started getting carried away...

My journey for my inspiration began with a newspaper article I read about Louis XVI King of France, but more interestingly his wife Marie Antionette the Queen of exquisite taste. She amassed artworks of extraordinary opulence and beauty. Particularly her furniture collection, the extravagant life of Queen Marie is surrounded by elegant French furniture and fabrics, very beautiful designs that are still prevalent today.
